About Ella’s Collaborations

Adventurer’s Drinks Company – Ella in the Arctic Luxury Hot Chocolate and Sailors Rum

Ella has teamed up with fellow ocean adventurer Phil Kite and his Adventurers Drinks Company in launching Ella in the Arctic Luxury Hot Chocolate and KEEL OVER Sailors Rum!

Phil’s Adventurers Drinks Company is about developing and marketing drinks inspired by modern day adventurers. It is about telling their back stories as well as bringing attention to what drives them, their latest adventures and the good causes they support.

Ella is inspired by her love of sailing, the oceans, the environment and its wildlife, and during her solo circumnavigation of the Arctic Circle in 2025 she hopes to be spreading awareness about the work being done by Polar Bears International, who are dedicated to conserving polar bears and the sea ice they depend on to live.

Sailing around the Arctic will be extremely challenging, and Ella wanted to take a bit of luxury on her journey to pep her up when things get tough. Ella in the Artic Luxury Hot Chocolate and KEEL OVER Sailors Rum give that bit of luxury that we can all enjoy.

Crafted by Hygge, for the Adventurers Drinks Company, this amazing Hot Chocolate is the perfect drink to cheer you up when times have been tough, and you need that bit of extra comfort and pleasure. It is for the Calm after the Storm.

KEEL OVER Sailors Rum, crafted in small batches by Northern Distillers for the Adventurers Drinks Company, has flavours of Vanilla and dried fruits with a delightfully rich finish of caramel and hints of cocoa.

You can buy Ella in the Arctic Luxury Hot Chocolate and KEEL OVER Sailors Rum from the Adventurers Drinks company and in doing so we hope you spread the word about Ella’s journey, Polar Bear International and the challenges faced by the arctic’s wildlife

Kim Styles Jewelry – Ella’s Polar Bear Pendant

Isle of Wight jewelry-maker, and previous sailing student of Ella’s, Kim, has designed this gorgeous polar bear pendant in support of the campaign. On her website she states:

“Designed to help Ella achieve her goal, I will be donating the profit from the sale of each Polar Bear pendant to ‘Ella In the Arctic’. This pendant has been hand made in my Isle of Wight Studio from sterling silver, using traditional jewellery techniques.  The bear is 2.5cm long and 2cm high.  It comes hanging on an 18in/45cm sterling silver chain and nestling in a pretty gift box, first class postage is free.

It makes an ideal gift, especially with Christmas on the horizon!

This design is a limited edition in support of ‘Ella In the Arctic’.”

Thank you, Kim!

THE MELT – Artistic Installation created by Anthony Garratt

Artist Anthony Garratt is creating an amazing installation inspired by the Arctic circumnavigation.

Anthony is located in South Devon, and has exhibited extensively in public and commercial galleries. His eclectic, self-initiated public installations have garnered much National press interest.

The Melt is a “floating exhibition of large, double-sided paintings which switch sides on each tide” which floated paintings of Arctic Icebergs on swinging moorings during the Summer months in temperate coastal locations in Devon, UK. The floating platforms were made by the artist using reclaimed scaffolding, panels and barrels. Natural and organic linseed oil paint was used to paint the icebergs. The Melt film was made using camera footage from handheld phones.

Ella was privileged to have collaborated with Anthony on this spectacular installation is a huge privilege, and honoured that he felt inspired enough by her circumnavigation to reach out. In support of his project, Ella will be sending Anthony exclusive photos for his use only, from S/Y Yeva of both open ocean seascapes and icebergs she encounters along the route.

He has also built a website just for this project – suitably named “The Melt“.

The International SeaKeepers Society

The International SeaKeepers Society promotes oceanographic research, conservation, and education through direct involvement with the yachting community.

SeaKeepers DISCOVERY Programme utilises privately-owned vessels as at-sea platforms for scientific study, eliminating vessel costs to maximise research potential. Our efforts enable the collection of valuable marine data, support environmental research, and provide hands-on learning experiences for students and communities, while raising awareness about important global ocean issues. During Ella’s journey through the Arctic, she is contributing valuable data to The Nippon Foundation-GEBCO Seabed 2030 Project, a flagship programme of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. This is a global Citizen Science initiative to map the world’s seafloor by 2030. So far, only 26.1% of the seafloor has been mapped. This information can help identify uncharted features such as seamounts and canyons, verify charted information and help fill the spaces on charts where no data exists.

During her Arctic circumnavigation, Ella is sharing her story and experiences with the wider community. In collaboration with SeaKeepers, she has created lesson plans that share her voyage with the next generation, inspiring future ocean stewards to follow in her footsteps. These lessons discuss the importance of Arctic habitats and the biodiversity living within, while highlighting the threats they face and how we can all make proactive lifestyle changes to better protect this vulnerable polar environment. Titled “Arctic Exploration and Polar Ecosystems” and “Climate Change in the Arctic”, everyone now has the ability to educate and learn through the eyes of Ella in the Arctic.

“As Ella embarks on her remarkable solo voyage around the Arctic Circle, we extend our best wishes. Her journey is a beacon for our ocean and planet, drawing attention to the urgent need for marine conservation and research. As a member of the SeaKeepers DISCOVERY Programme, she exemplifies stewardship and purpose through her commitment to advancing marine research. We believe her voyage will inspire a new generation of ocean advocates as she demonstrates the role each of us can play in protecting our planet’s most vital resources” Jay Wade, Chairman of The International SeaKeepers Society.

SeaKeepers wish Ella great success on her incredible Arctic journey.
