Armare Ropes are sponsoring ropes and lines for Yeva!

Art&Sea have sponsored the campaign by provided the graphics and logos placed aboard Yeva.

Blackbeard Marine are sponsoring the campaign! The company, owned and run by a man affectionately known around Gosport as “Rick the Pirate” , are assisting Ella with Yeva’s electrical wiring needs during the refit, amongst other jobs. Rick is also dedicating some of his own time to teach Ella the electrical “essentials” and know-how to be able to trouble shoot, manage, and fix any potential issues that could arise in the Arctic.

Blackbeard Marine are an up and coming business located in the heart of Gosport, happy to help with electrics, diesel heaters, engines, and plenty of other things your yacht may need!

Boatfolk are supporting Ella’s campaign. Boatfolk won this year’s Southampton Boat Show Environmental Award, and share Ella’s passion for ocean conservation, sustainability and education as well as inspiring the next generation of boaters with their #boatgen campaign. Boatfolk have 11 marinas in stunning locations around the UK coastline.

Drift + Noise Polar Services are sponsoring the campaign by providing Ella with full access to their ice information app, IcySea.

“IcySea is an ice information app for navigation in polar regions. IcySea is a map-based application designed to display and deliver ice relevant information for operational purposes in the polar regions.”

Ella will be using the IcySea app extensively – both this year in preparation, and next year for the circumnavigation of the Arctic Ocean. It provides invaluable data and information that could make a huge difference in achieving this circumnavigation.

DSNM Ltd are leaders in providing the world’s best bespoke navigational management service. DSNM are also proud supporters of women in the maritime industry, and are sponsoring Ella all of the charts she will need for her voyage. They have a training collaboration with the prestigious Warsash Maritime Academy, and an dedicated team that have over 100 years of combined knowledge and experience in the superyacht industry.

Dubarry of Ireland is sponsoring the campaign – Dubarry are providing Dubarry Sailing boots, and items of clothing from their Aquatech range that will keep Ella warm and dry throughout my circumnavigation.

Jeckells has been manufacturing sails for nearly 200 years. During that time they have built up an international reputation for designing and manufacturing quality and durable sails tailored to suit their customers’ exacting needs. Jeckells are as passionate about climate change and sustainability as Ella is, and will be providing sails for Ella’s boat to help her through the Arctic voyage.

Krueger Limited have sponsored Yeva with the installation of an Eberspacher diesel heater, to ensure Ella can keep the inside of the yacht warmer than the outside environment she’ll be sailing through.

Maritime Skills Academy are sponsoring the campaign! Thanks to MSA and the Viking Maritime Group, Ella will be undertaking MCA approved Polar Code training in Portsmouth. This training will be paramount to Ella’s learning and skill development prior to her circumnavigation. She’ll be writing a blog post about it, so check the  and updates page for that!

The Maritime Skills Academy is helping the industry set new standards by delivering higher levels of deck and engine simulation, marine, fire and safety training. They offer over 500 courses in state of the art facilities in Dover, Portsmouth and Gibraltar.

Medical Support Offshore are sponsoring the voyage, by providing Ella with bespoke medical training, a medical kit for the boat, and telecommunication support throughout the circumnavigation. Medical Support Offshore play an active role towards driving sustainable practises, and will be providing important training that will help Ella manage any medical issues that may occur whilst she’s alone at sea.

Paintworld Ltd are sponsoring the campaign! PaintWorld Ltd have offered to sandblast and paint Yeva during her shipyard refit.
PaintWorld Ltd are a local company that provide the highest quality of cleaning, painting and boat polishing. It’s run by Galdric Valles and his partner Sarah, who are two incredibly lovely people that Ella. They were so enthusiastic about the campaign, and agreed to sponsor on the spot! Ella is so excited for PaintWorld Ltd to get their hands on Yeva, and she knows that Yeva will look absolutely fantastic with their professional, experienced and attentive approach.

Sea Start Ltd are sponsoring the campaign! As a Sea Start member, Ella will have total peace of mind throughout her training sails around the Solent and the Isle of Wight.

Sea Start operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and offer unlimited call outs, home berth attendance, attendance up to 3 miles offshore, technical assistance by phone, and will also tow your boat to a safe refuge if the repair needed cannot be carried out alongside. Although Ella hopes not to have to call Sea Start regarding issues aboard Yeva, knowing that help is on the end of the phone if needed is reassuring, and the Sea Start team are a group of friendly, knowledgable and experienced engineers.

Seajet Yacht Paint are sponsoring the primer and anti-foul that will be applied to Yeva during her shipyard refit! Yeva is going to have a full makeover, and careful consideration is going in to what paint is put back on her. Seajet are an award-winning yacht paint specialist, and are a perfect fit for the boat’s needs.

SeaJet are providing their 117 Multipurpose Epoxy Primer, which will be applied all over Yeva after her sandblast, as well as their 034 Emperor anti-foul, in a fantastic bright red colour.

Sta-Lok Terminals have chosen to sponsor the campaign! Sta-Lok Terminals Ltd specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of high-quality stainless steel wire rope fittings and structural tie rod systems for Marine Rigging and Architectural applications.

Sta-Lok will be providing the rigging fittings and wires Yeva needs for her shipyard refit – a wonderful match for the campaign. This means Yeva‘s rigging will be strong and secure for the incredible voyage ahead.

Suffolk Marine Safety are sponsoring Ella’s voyage by helping with the safety equipment Yeva will need to be fitted with. Suffolk Marine Safety is an independent marine safety equipment supplier in the UK, who state “To us, there is no query too small and no question too obscure. […] Suffolk Marine Safety began its journey in 1980, and those forty years of experience have earned us a deserving reputation.”. Suffolk Marine Safety both sell and rent safety gear, are experienced in service and repairs, and operate across the UK.

 VMG Technology Masts & Marine Systems are sponsoring the campaign, and will be helping Ella with Yeva’s rigging works. Run by two keen sailors, VMG take the time to make sure you maximise your sailing experience. They discuss your requirements with you and advise accordingly. This wonderful team do rigging inspections, masts and spars, running rigging, standing rigging, hydraulic systems and so much more! Ella will be learning a lot from their wealth of experience.

Wave International are sponsoring Ella’s campaign by providing her with their bespoke filtration system, the Wave Stream System II. This clever in-line bilge filter will catch micro plastics and small particles that would otherwise be pumped overboard by Yeva’s bilge pump – making her even more environmentally-safe, and minimising the trace our voyage will leave behind in the Arctic. YB Tracking  are sponsoring Ella’s voyage by providing her with a global tracking device. Their products “allow you to track and communicate with those you care about, via satellite from anywhere on Earth.” This will also provide Ella with full two-way communication, so she can send and receive short SMS messages and emails wherever she is. The YB Tracker also comes with a website page that will allow followers of the campaign to see where Ella is throughout her circumnavigation, and will “form a great historic record for [her] to look at and review once [she] gets back” home. Ella’s campaign aligns closely with YB Tracking’s values, and both parties are delighted with this partnership.
